Art Mounting in Austin

Art hanging is measuring, not guessing. We lay out gallery walls on paper first, find the studs behind heavy mirrors, and use anchors rated for the actual weight, so nothing ends up crooked or on the floor.

How we do it

Gallery walls

Full layouts taped and leveled before the first nail, so the arrangement works as one piece.

Heavy mirrors

Into studs or rated anchors, with the hardware the weight actually calls for.

Floating shelves

Level across the run and anchored for what you plan to put on them, not just their own weight.

Stairways and high walls

Tall entries and stairwell walls with the right ladders and the patience to center things properly.

FAQ

Art Mounting questions

How do you price art hanging?

By the visit, from your list or photos. A dozen frames and a mirror is a typical afternoon; we quote it before we come.

Can you hang on brick or plaster?

Yes. Masonry and old plaster each get their own anchors, same as our TV work.

Will you lay out the gallery wall?

Yes, that is the part most people actually want help with. We tape the layout up first so you approve it before any holes.

What about very heavy mirrors?

We anchor into structure, and for oversized pieces we use french cleats rated far past the weight.

Where we work

Central Austin, on purpose

We keep the service area tight around our West 9th Street home base. It is why same-day usually works.
